Pitch (selling points): If elected, one of my main objectives is to help revive the Association as a thriving hub for economic discourse, research, and action, in light of the recent decline in its activities, particularly regarding significant national issues. My work experience and interactions with both local and international stakeholders have provided me with invaluable experience in conducting research, analysing economic trends, policy formulation and analysis, and developing strategic insights to inform decision-making processes. As an economist deeply invested in the economic well-being of Zambia, I am committed to leveraging my expertise and experience to contribute meaningfully to the Association's objectives of promoting economic research, policy analysis, and public discourse. With a collaborative approach and a dedication to evidence-based decision-making, I am confident in my ability to contribute positively to the advancement of economic prosperity and social welfare in Zambia.
